PEPEL wall sconce: a play of transparency on the wall
Glass and aluminium answer each other in a compact volume of 12 cm by 25 cm, adjustable up to 20 cm to fine-tune the angle after fitting. Available in grey, brown, white and purple, this wall sconce model lets you pick a shade that extends the wall or cuts against it. The 10 cm mount stays discreet once the whole thing is fixed in place.
The 5 W G9 LED source is supplied with the light and works in warm white at 3000 K, over a range of 3 to 5 metres. The glass diffuses the output instead of concentrating it, which limits glare as you walk past. The brightness stays fixed, a choice that simplifies wiring to an ordinary switch.
Its distinctive drawing sits in a designer, modern register, at ease in a hallway as much as above a console table. Fitted in pairs, it gives rhythm to a long wall without cluttering the floor. In a living space, it serves as secondary lighting and softens the ceiling light in the evening.
