DIMO: an amber glass globe with a soft glow
The glass, in beige, brown or purple tones, is ringed with metal, in a round volume 25 cm in diameter and as much in height. The coloured transparency hints at the source without ever exposing it outright. Tinted glass wall sconces bring a depth that opaque diffusers do not offer.
The 5 W LED is supplied and passes through the thickness of the glass, which shades the light according to the colour chosen. The 3 to 5 metre range makes it an ambient or a secondary light. The 90-260V range on AC current covers the most common installations.
The IP20 rating reserves it for dry rooms: living room, dining room, bedroom or kitchen. The amber tone warms a pale wall, the purple plays a more unexpected note. Its full roundness contrasts with very straight furniture lines.
