ZITUMO, sculpted beige in a biscuit shape: a presence all in curves
ZITUMO relies on a very soft sand beige, applied to a moulded resin whose hollows and scalloped edges evoke a stylised pastry. The matt finish evens out the surface and removes stray reflections. Placed on a light wall, this is one of those wall sconces that acts as a discreet bas-relief rather than as a conventional light fitting.
Two G9 caps take warm white 3000K LEDs, whose golden tone chimes with the beige of the material. The lighting stays diffuse, designed to create an end-of-day atmosphere over a reach of 3 to 10 metres. The power is capped at 8W per source, on 220-240V.
The 16 cm by 34 cm format slips between two windows, along a staircase or above a sideboard. In a beige, linen or pale wood interior, the object melts into the decor and only really appears once lit. The IP20 rating calls for installation away from damp.
