PULORA: the black steel vertical that gives a wall structure
This fitting brings the lighting of a wall back to a single line: a steel cylinder 8 cm wide and 30 cm high, coated in a matt black that absorbs reflections. The even finish lets the shape speak and gives the wall a clear relief, with no ornament. Choosing a wall sconce this pared back means betting on the drawing rather than on the decoration.
Two GU10 caps sit at either end of the tube, one facing up, the other facing down. With LED bulbs of 10 W maximum, the light runs along the partition and draws two symmetrical beams reaching from 3 to 10 metres. The bulbs are not supplied, which leaves the choice of colour temperature open.
Placed on either side of a mirror, repeated along a hallway or set beside a sofa, it takes up little surface for an immediate effect. The IP20 rating suits it to dry rooms and the 220-240 V mains supply connects to a standard cable outlet. Plan for fixings suited to the wall, as they are not included.
