VOPUVU wall sconce: a black cube that shrugs off damp
This 10 cm aluminium cube plays absolute restraint: crisp edges, a matt black finish and no visible screw on the front face. Choosing a one-piece wall sconce avoids any interplay of reflections and lets the geometry speak for itself. The metal also dissipates the heat produced by the integrated source.
The LED module is already in place and delivers up to 7 W in 3000K warm white, with no bulb to screw in. Two opposing beams draw a luminous hourglass on the wall, with a reach of 3 to 10 metres. The intensity stays fixed, which guarantees the same atmosphere from one evening to the next.
The IP54 rating protects it from dust and water splashes: it works just as well around a front door as in a bathroom or a stairwell. Running on 220-240V, it connects to a standard lighting circuit. Screws and wall plugs are chosen to suit the surface.
