TIRAS wall sconce: three LED sources aligned across 48 cm
The matt black of the structure and the gold trims set the tone as soon as it goes up: this wall sconce embraces a sharp contrast rather than total discretion. The aluminium bar measures 48 cm long for only 12 cm high, and the acrylic diffusers soften the grain of the beam. The metal brings the rigidity, the acrylic the softness.
Three E27 LED sources are supplied with the light, set to a warm white at 3000 K. The stated reach of 3 to 5 metres is enough to cover a wide mirror or a full worktop. The brightness is not adjustable: the mood stays the same every time you switch on, which keeps everyday use simple.
Its low height means it can slip under a kitchen wall unit or above a mirror without crowding the wall. In a dining room, the horizontal alignment of the three sources visually stretches the wall. The IP20 rating does, however, restrict fitting to dry areas, away from splashes of water.
