NINEGE wall sconce: a very graphic black vertical
Matt black turns the fluted cylinder into a graphic volume: the grooves read as shadows rather than reflections. The lacquered aluminium keeps an even surface over the 30 cm height, for a clean vertical line. This is the plainest version of these wall sconces, the one that fits in anywhere without negotiation.
The two opposing beams draw cones of light that are all the more visible because the body of the NINEGE stays dark. Two GU10 LEDs of 10 W maximum, in warm white 3000K, are enough to create ambient lighting on a stretch of wall. No intensity variation is built in: the level is chosen at the bulb stage.
On a pale wall, the contrast underlines the verticality and visually lengthens the height of the room. In an already busy interior, its neutrality avoids adding one more thing to look at. Indoor use at IP20, connection to the 220-240V mains.
