PELEVU, a black steel cone: the industrial signature par excellence
With its black conical steel shade of 30 cm, PELEVU claims an industrial lineage without apology. The matt black marks the wall with a full silhouette, 14 cm wide, that is noticed even when unlit. These wall sconces are meant for interiors that like frank materials and simple shapes.
The bulb is to be chosen separately on an E14 cap, within a limit of 10 W. The cone channels the light and draws a clear lit circle, in contrast with the dark shade of the shade itself. A warm white source at 3000 K avoids the overly cold effect that black could accentuate.
Against a brick wall, a workshop glazed partition or polished concrete, the black immediately sets an industrial register. The fitting runs at 220-240V and carries an IP20 rating reserved for dry spaces. Screws and wall plugs are to be planned according to the nature of the wall.
