The black aluminium draws a tube 85 cm high by 8 cm wide, the end of which turns to direct the beam where it is useful. The matt finish absorbs reflections and lets the volume blend into partitions dark and pale alike. It sits readily among the functional models in our wall sconces, the ones fitted for a precise use.
The 13W G4 LED comes with the light and reaches 3 to 10 metres. The movable head lets you tip the light towards the floor to mark out a passage, or raise it towards the ceiling for indirect lighting. The choice between 3000K warm white and 4000K cool white matches the result to the hour and the use, while the brightness for its part stays fixed.
A circular mount 8 cm in diameter is enough to hold the whole thing, which leaves the tube looking as though it were simply set against the wall. On a staircase, along a hallway, near a bedside or in a living room corner, the adjustable aim avoids dazzling anyone coming downstairs or moving about at night. The IP65 rating and the 90 to 260V AC supply cover locations exposed to damp.
