BUDEPO: a linear bar for long hallways
Reduced to a bar 6 cm high, this black metal wall sconce comes in 80, 100 or 120 cm widths. The slim profile lines up on the wall like a continuous stroke, with no volume standing out. The black finish absorbs reflections and underlines the line rather than the object itself.
Three LED sources are included and spread along the length, for a total of 22W and a 3 to 10 metre reach. Both 3000K warm white and 4000K cool white are offered, with adjustable brightness. Splitting the output over three points avoids shadow zones across the wider sizes.
In the hallway of a contemporary house, the 120 cm version creates a thread of light that draws the eye to the far end. Above a sofa, the bar replaces a run of frames and structures the wall. Rated IP20, it belongs in circulation spaces and living rooms, away from damp.
