LULE wall sconce: contrast between a black base and a pale globe
The whole interest of this model from our wall sconces lies in the contrast between its black aluminium base and its opal acrylic globe. The dark mount cuts a clean line against the wall, while the pale sphere draws the attention to the light. The whole measures 12 cm long and 17 cm tall, a size that stays manageable on a narrow wall.
The opal sphere spreads the output evenly and erases the trace of a point source. A G9 LED of 8 W maximum delivers a warm white at 3000K over a distance of 3 to 10 metres. The fitting connects at 220-240V, with no adjustable brightness.
In a ventilated bathroom, the IP44 rating lets it sit alongside water splashes around the mirror. In a hallway with pale walls, the black base creates a regular visual rhythm when it is repeated. The 6.5 cm mounting plate limits the footprint, with fixings chosen to suit the wall.
