GAVI: a light bar in chocolate brown
This wall sconce takes the form of a 40 cm aluminium bar closed by an acrylic diffuser. The brown shade, deep and warm, breaks with the usual metallic finishes and immediately warms the wall. The smooth surface holds neither a harsh reflection nor a visible bright spot.
Its 18W of supplied LED offer two temperatures, a cool white of 4000K and a warm white of 3000K, over a reach of 3 to 5 metres. Cool white lights a mirror with precision, warm white sets a calmer atmosphere in the evening. The intensity, for its part, is not adjustable.
Its width of 10 cm for 40 cm in length allows a horizontal fitting above a mirror as much as a vertical one along an upright. Brown goes with dark woods, beige tiles and the cream walls of a bedroom or a living room. Its IP20 rating destines it for dry indoor volumes.
