RILABO wall sconce: mineral relief in aluminium
The aluminium body of this wall sconce takes on a grainy relief that imitates cut stone. Five shades are offered, from white to black by way of red, brown and grey. The cylinder, 10 cm wide by 23 cm long, keeps a compact silhouette.
The E27 cap takes a supplied 40 W incandescent bulb, in warm white 3000K. The light escapes from the top and the bottom of the cylinder and draws two cones on the wall. Its three to five metre reach is enough to mark out a hallway or an entrance wall.
Lined up at regular intervals, several units give rhythm to a long passage. The relief shows itself above all in grazing light, when the hollows fill with shadow. The IP20 rating reserves it for indoor use, in dry rooms.
