BONEKA: a half-circle of stone that softens the light
Carved from stone, this wall sconce plays on raw mineral texture softened by a half-circle shape. The natural beige of the material catches the daylight and reveals an irregular grain, different from one piece to the next. At 16 cm wide and 30 cm high, it stays measured while asserting a sculptural presence.
The G9 cap LED bulb is included and offers warm white at 3000K as well as cool white at 4000K, depending on the mood you are after. The beam covers a 3 to 5 metre area, enough to mark out a passageway or accompany reading beside the sofa. Brightness is not adjustable: the output stays constant, muted and free of glare.
In a contemporary living room, two pieces placed on either side of a sideboard create a steady visual rhythm. The stone works just as well with white walls as with textured renders, and its IP20 rating suits dry rooms: bedroom, office, dining room or a kitchen away from water points.
