RUFI wall sconce: a bar of light just 3 cm thick
A black aluminium profile only 3 cm wide encloses an acrylic diffuser along the whole length of the bar. The whole thing stays flat against the wall and reads as a continuous line rather than as an object set upon it. This economy of material places it among the most discreet formats in our wall sconces.
The G4 LED is supplied and its power follows the size chosen, from 6W to 20W by way of 9W, 12W and 16W. The brightness adjusts freely, which allows a clear 4000K light during the day and a low 3000K light in the evening, over a range of 3 to 5 metres. The acrylic diffuser smooths the beam and hides the individual points of light.
Five lengths cover very different needs: 40 cm for a recess, 60 or 80 cm on either side of a mirror, 100 and 120 cm to underline a hallway or a bedside across its full width. The mount matches the dimensions of the bar exactly, with no visible backplate. Its IP20 rating suits it to dry rooms, with a 90 to 260V AC supply.
