RIPIBEL, the double coloured glass ball: a symmetrical, gentle light
Two glass balls lined up on a metal frame: this wall sconce rests entirely on symmetry. At 32 cm long by 16.5 cm wide, it occupies the wall horizontally, which makes it an obvious choice above a mirror or a bedside.
The glass comes in white, pink, beige, green and blue, soft tones that colour the light without saturating it. Two G9 sources, not supplied, light in warm white 3000 K, with a range of 3 to 5 metres. Doubling the light sources softens the hard shadow that a single source produces.
This kind of composition owes as much to wall jewellery as to lighting: switched off, it reads as two glass volumes set on a line. Mounted at eye level, either side of a bed, it replaces bedside lamps and clears the tables. Installation is in dry interiors, on 90-260 V and under an IP20 rating.
