MEKAGA, the 48 cm gold tube: a warm horizontal
Gold aluminium draws a very elongated tube here, 48 cm long by only 6 cm wide. The gold finish catches the light without harsh reflection and goes with handles and joinery in the same shade. The tubular format makes this wall sconce a horizontal line rather than an object in volume.
Two incandescent bulbs are supplied, on an E27 cap and for 15 W in total. The light comes in 3000K warm white or 4000K cool white and spreads along the whole length of the tube. The 3 to 5 metre reach frames a mirror or a picture without spilling over.
Mounted horizontally above a sideboard, the tube underlines the line of the furniture; vertically, it frames a desk mirror. The 10 cm backplate stays discreet behind the body of the fitting. The IP20 rating means dry rooms, with an AC supply of 110 to 240 V.
