DIDOPU, a gold column: warm metal that already catches the daylight
The gold finish applied to the aluminium gives DIDOPU a satin sheen that shows even with the light switched off. At 150 cm high and 6.5 cm wide, this fitting belongs as much to decorative detail as to lighting, and stands out among plainer wall sconces. The gold tone marries with handles, frames and small metal objects from the same family of shades.
The built-in LED emits a warm white of 3000 K that carries on the golden hue of the profile rather than neutralising it. Allow 25 W at most and a spread of 3 to 10 metres depending on the layout of the room. No dimming is provided, so the result stays the same from one evening to the next.
In a dressing room, an entrance hall or a living room, two units placed symmetrically frame a mirror or a large picture elegantly. The supply runs at 220-240V and the IP20 rating calls for an installation away from splashes. Screws and wall plugs still need to be chosen to suit the wall.
