MUBIFE: a gold flower in metal and glass for the living room
Gold metal petals open around small pieces of glass that catch and throw the light back. The even gold finish, with no break in colour, gives this piece the look of a wall jewel among wall sconces. The glass brings the points of shine that stop the metal mass from looking solid.
The G4 cap LED sources are supplied and give out a warm white of 3000 K over a range of 3 to 5 metres. Multiplied, they produce punctuated lighting rather than an even halo, with reflections on the nearby surfaces. This is an ambient light, designed for the evening more than for broad daylight.
Three sizes let you adjust its presence on the wall: 27 × 38 cm, 30 × 30 cm or 23 × 25 cm. The first two hold a living room wall, the third suits a run of hallway or a dining room. The IP20 rating makes it suitable for dry rooms.
