PEGODA wall sconce: two glass globes on a gold frame
Two 10 cm glass balls spread out on a metal frame 26 cm wide, in a balancing act that suggests a branch. Gold and black give it a character that stands out among wall sconces, at home above a bed or in a stairwell. The 28 cm height gives it presence without taking over the wall.
Each globe takes a supplied E27 bulb, in warm white 3000 K, for a reach of 3 to 10 metres. The double source avoids shadow zones and wraps the room in an even light. The glass softens the beam and removes the point effect of a bare bulb.
The IP65 rating protects the whole fitting from splashes, which widens its uses beyond dry rooms alone. Running at 90-260 V, it connects to a standard wall outlet. Between glass, metal and a gold finish, the PEGODA takes on a modern and frankly decorative register.
