MIPI: grey concrete for a warm light with two outlets
Raw concrete gives this rounded volume, 18 cm wide, a grainy texture and a cement grey tone that varies slightly from one piece to the next. The material is solid, unpainted, and owns the nuances that come with casting. Few wall sconce models offer this mineral presence, closer to architecture than to a decorative fitting.
Two G9 bulbs of 8 W maximum light upwards and downwards from a 9 cm plate. The warm white of 3000 K softens the coolness of the concrete and produces two crisp halos on the partition. The bulbs are to be bought separately.
The contrast works particularly well against a pale painted wall, smooth plaster or brick, in an entrance hall or a living room with a contemporary feel. Allow 14 cm in height, which makes it possible to fit it under a shelf or halfway up a wall. Keep it to dry rooms, at IP20, on a 220-240 V supply.
