LESI: a stone half-moon protected to IP65
This stone and acrylic addition to our wall sconces draws a half-moon 20 cm in diameter and 13 cm high, sculptural and discreet at once. The beige of the mineral surface keeps a visible texture that catches raking light. Its simple shape lets it be repeated along a wall without ever tiring the eye.
Its IP65 rating protects it from water splashes, which clearly widens the list of rooms it can go in. The LED bulb included, with a G9 cap, lights in a warm white 3000 K up to fifteen metres. The light passes through the acrylic then reflects off the stone, without dazzling.
Its blend of Scandinavian inspiration and unusual shape slots easily into a contemporary interior. It works just as well framing a mirror as marking a vertical line along a staircase. The 90-260 V supply matches standard domestic installations.
