LUBIFOK wall sconce: concrete softened by olive green
Cut from a concrete cube 12 cm wide, this wall sconce embraces a raw material that is rarely paired with colour. The olive green tempers the mineral grain and sets a muted, plant-like tone that catches daylight differently as the hours pass. Every piece keeps the slight surface variations inherent to the material.
A G9 lamp holder sits at the centre of the volume and throws a 3000K warm white through the open faces. The result is closer to a double halo licking the wall over 3 to 10 metres than to direct lighting. Limited to 8 W, the source is enough to create accent light without ever dazzling.
The industrial vocabulary of concrete works with a white wall, painted brick or a piece of pale wood furniture. Fitted in pairs along a hallway or on its own above a console table, it gives rhythm to the surface without weighing it down, thanks to its 12 by 10 cm format. The IP20 rating restricts fitting to dry rooms, away from water splashes.
