ZUSINA, the beige stone half-sphere: a soft halo set on the wall
Carved from beige stone with natural veining, this model stands out among wall sconces with a perfectly smooth half-sphere set on a metal base. Each piece therefore shows a slightly different veining pattern. Its 15 cm diameter and 7 cm projection keep the volume compact against the wall.
The G4 cap takes an LED bulb to be bought separately, in warm white 3000 K or cool white 4000 K depending on the mood you are after. The light slides along the stone and spreads upwards as well as downwards, over a reach of 3 to 5 metres. The result is a muted secondary light rather than a main source.
This modern, mineral language finds its place above a worktop, along a hallway or on either side of a bed. In a run of two or three, the half-spheres draw a regular rhythm on a living room or dining room wall. The IP20 rating and the 90-260 V supply reserve it for dry spaces.
