MIGOROK wall sconce: raw stone cut into a column of light
This fitting is cut from stone, 35 cm high and 10 cm in diameter. The black, irregular surface keeps the trace of the work on the material and is never quite the same from one piece to the next, unlike moulded wall sconces. A yellow opening lets the light filter through like a fault in the block.
The G4 cap takes an LED in warm white 3000K or cool white 4000K, for a reach of three to five metres. The stone absorbs part of the flux and concentrates the effect on the lit slit. The contrast between the matt black and the warm glow is the whole point of the model.
This mineral presence suits modern interiors looking for a slightly raw material. It works on its own on a living room wall, or in pairs in a dining room. The IP20 rating reserves it for dry rooms.
