ZIMETOK: two beams in a compact housing
This aluminium and acrylic design fits into 10 cm wide, 21 cm high and 4 cm deep, among the smallest of our wall sconces. Two sources light upwards and downwards from that tiny volume. Black, white and gold offer three very different readings of the same drawing.
The cool white 4000K of the LEDs supplied gives a crisp light, whose intensity can be set to suit the moment. The two beams draw symmetrical cones on the wall, over a reach of 3 to 5 metres. The aluminium takes the heat without making the housing any bigger.
This format lines up easily along a hallway or a staircase, at regular intervals. Gold turns a dark wall into a surface textured by light. It remains intended for dry spaces, from the living room to the study.
