LITOPU wall sconce: the contrast of black and opal glass
The black of the structure and the milky white of the globe answer each other in a clean contrast, which gives the wall relief without weighing it down. This steel and glass wall sconce takes up an elementary geometry, sphere and cylinder, in a format of 21 cm in height. The dark finish marks a firm line where the glass softens.
The LED bulb with a G9 cap, of 8 W maximum, delivers a warm white at 3000 K that the opal glass spreads with no harsh area. The result is a rounded light, readable from 3 to 10 metres, which suits evening reading as much as simple circulation lighting. Nothing to adjust: the softness is built into the diffuser.
On a pale wall, the contrast turns graphic; on a dark wall, the whole blends in and only the globe stays visible. The IP20 rating destines it for dry rooms, living room, bedroom or landing. Screws and wall plugs are not supplied, so as to leave the choice of fixing system open.
