VEVU wall sconce: brown wood and a discreet diffuser
This fitting carves a wooden volume 17 cm wide and 20 cm high, with an acrylic diffuser 12 cm in diameter. The brown shade of the wood, warm and deep, contrasts with the whiteness of the diffuser. It stays compact, halfway between a light and a piece of joinery, unlike bulkier wall sconces.
The LED bulb, to be provided separately, is chosen in cool white 4000K or warm white 3000K. The light escapes through the acrylic disc and covers three to five metres. The opaque wood frames the beam and avoids any spill towards the back.
This designer, modern vocabulary suits interiors where wood is already present, from the office to the bedroom. It can also accompany a kitchen or a living room by bringing a living material onto a pale wall. The IP20 rating calls for a dry room.
