KIVOS: a cube of white ceramic on the wall
The KIVOS takes on a strict geometry: a cube 14 cm on each side, with no curve or ornament. This white ceramic wall sconce works as an architectural volume set on the partition, and its cast shadow is part of the design. The matt white lets it converse with pale walls as much as with coloured backgrounds.
The E27 cap takes an LED of up to 15 W in warm white at 3000 K, which warms up the rigour of the shape. The light comes out through the openings in the volume and spreads over 3 to 10 metres, above and below the cube. The bulb is not supplied with the fitting.
This modern approach suits an entrance hall, a stairwell or a living room wall treated as a composition. The supply runs at 220-240 V and the IP20 rating restricts fitting to dry spaces. Screws and wall plugs are not included in the package.
