BUGI wall sconce: a glass globe for a soft light
A glass globe set on a white steel base: the shape is simple, almost obvious, and that is where its strength lies. These wall sconces measure 14 cm wide by 12 cm high, a size that stays light on the partition. The uniform white blends into pale paintwork and leaves all the room to the luminous sphere.
The glass softens the beam and spreads it all around the globe, with no dazzling point. A G9 cap takes a LED of 8 W maximum, in warm white 3000K, for an enveloping rather than directional clarity. The light of the BUGI reaches from 3 to 10 metres, enough to accompany a hallway or mark out a staircase.
Two units aligned above a bed make up a symmetrical, soothing light. In a dining room, the sphere extends the rounded vocabulary of a pendant or a piece of ceramic. Connection is by 220-240V alternating current, with an IP20 rating that suits it to dry rooms.
