GIRE wall sconce: a pale frame for a precise light
A square of 16 cm by 16 cm, mixing beige wood and white metal, mounted on a 10 cm support. This wall sconce treats lighting as an element of architecture: a clean frame, a spot in the centre, nothing else. The wood tempers the coldness of the metal and softens the whole.
The GU10 cap takes an LED of 10 W maximum and gives out a cool white at 4000 K, precise and well contrasted. The beam concentrates on one area rather than flooding the room, with a reach of 3 to 10 metres. This is an accent light, to be combined with general lighting.
It is readily fitted in an entrance hall, above a low unit, or in a living room to underline an alcove. The wood and white pairing suits pale interiors and oak furniture. Intended for indoors at IP20, with screws and wall plugs to be provided.
