HEVUL wall sconce: wood as the only material
Everything rests here on the wood, shown in brown and beige tones depending on the grain of the piece, for a whole measuring 22 cm wide by 21 cm high. The material keeps its warm look and its perceptible texture, far from lacquered surfaces. This natural approach and this restrained geometry link it to the art deco and Scandinavian side of our wall sconces.
Behind the wooden front, an E27 LED supplied with the light spreads a 3000K warm white over a range of 3 to 5 metres. This low temperature brings out the amber tones of the material and creates an end-of-day light rather than a utility one. The brightness stays constant, with no dimmer.
The mount measures only 10 cm, so the body of the light seems to stand slightly clear of the partition. That offset works in favour of bedroom walls, in particular on either side of a bed, but also of a living room corner you want to warm up. The IP20 rating reserves it for dry rooms and the 110 to 240V alternating current matches ordinary domestic installations.
