MEVO: Nordic restraint in aluminium
This metal and aluminium design measures only 18 cm wide by 25 cm high, and stands 22 cm off the wall, unlike most wall sconces. Black and white take up the Nordic vocabulary, with no ornament or needless contrast. The projection aims the light forwards rather than at the partition.
The LED supplied produces a warm white 3000K over a reach of 3 to 5 metres, calibrated for close-range lighting. The aluminium stays lukewarm and keeps the beam stable over time. No dimming is provided, the lighting remaining constant.
Above a worktop, a desk or a table, that 22 cm projection changes everything: the light falls where you work. White blends into pale walls, black asserts a clean outline. It fits living rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms held together by simple lines.
