SUPILU, an ochre red cone: a terracotta note hung on the wall
The ochre red of SUPILU comes close to terracotta and natural pigments, applied here to a conical steel shade. Its 30 cm height and 14 cm width make it a visible volume without being bulky. Unlike quieter wall sconces, this one works as a block of colour as much as a source of light.
The fitting comes without a bulb and takes an E14 cap, with an LED of 10 W at most. The cone channels the beam and draws a clear lit zone, over a reach of 3 to 10 metres. A warm white source at 3000 K makes the warmth of the pigment stand out further still.
On a white wall, in an entrance hall or at the top of a staircase, this shade warms up spaces that are often left neutral. The supply runs at 220-240V and the IP20 rating assumes an installation away from damp. Screws and wall plugs are not included in the parcel.
