FUMU, two metres of linear light: continuous lighting, with no hot spot
FUMU stretches a profile 200 cm long with a 6 cm section, pairing an aluminium body with an acrylic diffuser. The off-white softens the result compared with a pure white and marries with matt walls as readily as with cream ceilings. This linear fitting takes on a minimalist vocabulary, without ornament or layered materials, unlike more decorative wall sconces.
The acrylic spreads the LED light over the whole length of the profile, which avoids isolated bright spots. The temperature of 3000 K gives a warm white, and the reach extends from 3 to 10 metres depending on the volume being treated. The fitting comes with its source, within a limit of 50 W, and without a dimmer.
Two metres of length change the scale of a wall: above a worktop, a sofa or a long low unit, the line unifies the whole. The connection runs at 220-240V and the IP20 rating limits use to dry rooms. Screws and wall plugs are not supplied, as fixing such a length deserves hardware chosen with care.
