LOTAS wall sconce: an orange shade with a Nordic spirit
The orange shade tops a metal mount with simple lines, over 20 cm high and 18 cm wide. The warm colour reads as a flat plane, typical of the Scandinavian interiors that own a bright accent. These wall sconces therefore bring as much colour as light.
The E27 cap takes a supplied LED, available in 3000K warm white as well as in 4000K cool white. The glass tints the halo slightly and softens the edges of the beam over 3 to 5 metres. A single source is enough to create a secondary light above an armchair or the end of a sofa.
The IP65 rating allows fitting in a damp room, which extends the use well beyond the living room. In a hallway, a run of these models paces the length of the wall. Above a bedside, the orange contrasts with the pale wood and the unbleached linen of Nordic bedrooms.
