RAPE wall sconce: a workshop feel, revisited
A small dome 15 cm in diameter, in metal and acrylic, available in silver, gold, white or yellow: the RAPE borrows its vocabulary from the workshop lights of the past. This wall sconce fixes to a plate of the same diameter, which keeps the whole thing compact. The coloured finishes spare it any nostalgic heaviness.
The E27 cap takes the supplied LED bulb, available in warm white 3000K as well as cool white 4000K. With 4W and a reach of 3 to 5 metres, it plays the role of secondary lighting more than of a main source. The brightness is not adjustable, the level stays the same at all times.
The mix of vintage and Scandinavian opens plenty of rooms to it. Lined up in a hallway, it marks out the passage. Above a dining room sideboard, it draws a cone of light on the plates, and two of them frame a bed without taking up the bedside tables.
