MOVI wall sconce: a circle of retro light
The glass disc mounted on aluminium comes in 23 cm or 30 cm per side, two formats for two wall scales. The gold and black finishes give this wall sconce the look of a salvaged find, somewhere between a porthole and an antique mirror. The 10 cm mount disappears behind the backplate once the light is in place.
The 10 W G9 LED bulb is included and offers a warm white at 3000 K or a cool white at 4000 K depending on the mood you are after. Its range of 3 to 10 metres makes it a source able to light a whole room, not just its corner of wall. The glass spreads the light around the full circumference and avoids a single bright spot.
The circular format breaks the verticality of a hallway and gives a bearing to an empty wall. At 30 cm, it takes the lead role above a sideboard; at 23 cm, it slips into an entrance hall. The vintage style suits dark wood furniture as well as a muted shade of paint.
