LAMU: a brass disc shaped like a full moon
The brass disc, gold or silver, has a surface worked in relief that recalls the grain of a full moon. The metal takes on a gentle patina and gains a depth that perfectly smooth finishes do not have. Among wall sconces, this one reads as a full circle, with no added ornament.
The E27 cap LED bulb supplied lights in warm white 3000 K over a range of 3 to 5 metres. The halo spreads around the disc and lifts the shape off the partition, which heightens the lunar effect. The IP65 rating allows installation in a bathroom or under a covered outdoor space.
Two diameters are offered, 30 cm and 50 cm, with a 25 cm mount. The large version takes a living room wall on its own, the small one lines up easily in a hallway. Between the brass and the industrial lines, it finds its place in raw interiors as well as in Scandinavian schemes.
