GEFIBO, wood in volume: a warm glow on the stairs
Wood is the only visible material here, left in a natural beige shade where the grain stays on show. Two geometries sit side by side, a round version and an oval one, the first three centimetres taller. This wall sconce looks more like a pebble fixed to the wall than a lighting device.
The G4 LED source supplied delivers 8 W in 3000K warm white, a shade that naturally extends that of the wood. The light escapes through the open faces and licks the partition, with a reach of 3 to 5 metres. The result suits circulation spaces you pass through more than you linger in.
Allow 19 cm in diameter for 16 or 19 cm in height: a volume present enough to punctuate a stairwell at several points. At a bedside, two units mounted at the same height replace the bedside lamps and free up the night table. The IP65 rating allows fitting in damper areas.
