DIPILA, a 50 cm ultramarine disc: colour as a focal point
The ultramarine blue of DIPILA sits on a metal disc 50 cm in diameter, completed by a glass piece at the centre of the assembly. The deep tone catches the eye on entering the room, even with the fitting switched off. Among wall sconces, this one fully embraces its role as a splash of colour on a neutral wall.
Behind the glass, a warm white 3000K G9 source warms the blue and avoids any impression of coldness. The output covers 3 to 10 metres and is enough to bring a whole wall to life in the evening. As the intensity is not adjustable, the light always keeps the same balance.
The ultramarine pairs with clean whites, dark woods and unbleached textiles, in a graphic register. The 5 cm mount holds the circle as close as possible to the partition, over a total depth of 14 cm. To be kept to dry rooms, living room, study or bedroom.
