TADUL: a circle of glass in motion
The wavy glass of this circular wall sconce catches the light in successive waves, ringed by a metal mount. Five shades, white, yellow, pink, red or green, colour the material and change the projected colour. The disc measures 21.5 cm, a format that stays light on a wall.
The G4 cap LED source draws 5 W and is chosen in warm white at 3000 K or cool white at 4000 K; the bulb is not supplied. The brightness is set, from night light to reading spot, over a range of 3 to 5 metres. The undulations break the beam and cast coloured reflections around the circle.
This vintage and statement piece finds its place above a bedside, in a child's bedroom or in a series in a living room. The IP20 rating reserves it for dry rooms. Switched off, it reads as a coloured glass object set on the wall.
