VIGAS: a beige textile for a subdued light
Fabric dresses a metal structure in a natural beige or a deep black, two finishes that completely change the character of the fitting. The proportions stay measured, 25 cm wide by 21 cm high, never spilling over the wall. These are wall sconces designed to be forgotten by day and to exist in the evening.
The LED source is supplied and gives out a warm white at 3000 K through the textile. The weave absorbs part of the beam and lets only a soft light through, over a reach of 3 to 5 metres. The result suits a reading corner or a bedside particularly well.
The Scandinavian, minimalist register shows in the restraint of the volume and the choice of matt materials. In beige it almost disappears on a pale wall; in black it becomes a graphic anchor point. Running on 90-260 V and an IP20 rating for dry interiors.
