ZINOK: the mineral texture of a beige light
Stone brings the grain, acrylic the diffusion: this pairing of materials gives the whole a slightly irregular beige surface, almost lunar. Three versions exist, WALLY and LUNY at 15 cm in diameter, LUNITA taller with its 19 cm diameter by 26 cm. These are wall sconces you look at as much switched off as switched on.
The LED source is supplied and gives out a warm white at 3000 K that reveals the roughness of the stone. Its reach of 3 to 15 metres lets it go beyond a purely decorative role and genuinely light a living space. The material filters the beam and softens the edges of the pool of light.
On a rendered wall or a matt paint, the mineral texture creates a relief that few fittings know how to produce. The three formats happily combine into a free composition, at eye level in a hallway or on either side of a bedside. Running on 90-260 V, IP20 rating, a Scandinavian spirit and a designer stance.
