VANIR wall sconce: two light sources balanced on an axis
Black and gold share the 50 cm long aluminium bar of this wall sconce. The two ends each carry a light source and answer one another on either side of the fixing. The clean line and the contrast of the two finishes come from a Scandinavian reading of decoration.
The two supplied E27 bulbs, incandescent and rated 40 W, light in warm white 3000K. The adjustable brightness makes it possible to come down to a low glow at the end of the day. Its three to five metre reach corresponds to supplementary lighting.
Set horizontally above a sofa, the bar underlines the width of the furniture. Vertically, it lengthens a narrow stretch of wall between two openings. The round mounting plate, 10 cm in diameter, anchors the whole thing at a single point.
