HUPO faceted wall sconce: wood as the focal point
A faceted volume of wood, cut in clean planes, which catches the light differently depending on the angle of view. This compact wall sconce, 12 cm high by 14 cm wide, is as much a sculpted object as a light fitting. The edges create crisp shadows and show off the grain of the wood.
An LED bulb with a G9 cap, 12 W maximum, lights from the heart of the volume and casts a warm white at 3000 K. The light escapes through the openings and underlines the facets before spreading into the room, over 3 to 10 metres. The result is part indirect lighting, part decorative accent.
Its 12 cm of depth keep it close to the wall, which makes it suited to small spaces where a focal point is still wanted. In a Scandinavian interior, it naturally carries on the pale woods of the furniture. Indoor use, IP20, screws and wall plugs to be provided separately.
