The ROPAFIN wall sconce in Scandinavian spirit: a soft, clear light
Its gold and black aluminium silhouette comes down to a few simple lines, in that Nordic spirit that puts use before ornament. Twenty centimetres in length by fifteen in width: the proportions stay measured. It belongs to the family of warm, unshowy wall sconces.
The incandescent bulb supplied screws into an E27 cap and delivers a warm white 3000K, that slightly amber brightness that flatters the tones of wood. Forty watts cover 3 to 5 metres. The brightness is not variable: the lighting keeps the same intensity from one evening to the next.
The 10 cm mounting plate is enough for a neat fixing, above a desk or beside an armchair. The IP20 rating sets it aside for dry rooms: bedroom, home office, living room. The gold warms up a white wall, the black holds its own against paint that is already coloured.
