GODU wall sconce: a hanging cylinder with a Nordic feel
The cylindrical body, 15 cm in diameter, drops 36 cm down the wall like a miniature pendant hung at bedside height. Aluminium and acrylic combine for a matt result, available in black, grey, white, green or red. Fitted like other bedside wall sconces, this shape frees up the bedside table without sacrificing the reading light.
Brightness is adjustable and the E27 bulb is supplied, with a choice between warm white 3000 K and cool white 4000 K. You move from a crisp reading light to a softer mood late in the evening. The light covers 3 to 5 metres, the scale of a bedroom or an office.
Connection is at 90-260 V and the IP20 rating reserves it for dry rooms. Its Scandinavian vocabulary, plain and without ornament, suits pale walls and natural textiles. Two units on either side of the bed are enough to compose a perfectly symmetrical light.
