MOHO: woven rattan for a filtered light
Twenty-eight centimetres long by twenty-four wide, in wood and woven rattan: the natural material occupies the whole visible surface and casts its shadows on the wall as soon as it is switched on. Each weave stays slightly irregular, which is part of the object. These are wall sconces for anyone who prefers fibres to smooth surfaces.
The LED is built in and lights in warm white 3000 K over 3 to 5 metres. The rattan filters the light and breaks it into patterns, which transforms the wall as much as the room. The effect is more decorative than functional, to be kept for evening moods.
The Scandinavian and vintage mix goes with pale wood interiors, jute rugs and limewashed walls. One above a headboard or in a living room is enough to change the atmosphere. A 28 cm mount, IP20 rating, 90-260 V supply.
