GADAKEK: the sculptural vertical that stretches the wall
Standing 71 cm high for just 15 cm in diameter, this wall sconce is built entirely around its slenderness. Black metal draws the stem, while marble forms the diffusing section and brings its irregular veining. The contrast between the mineral material and the dark structure is enough to give the wall real character.
Lighting relies on a G9 cap LED, to be sourced separately since the bulb is not included. The chosen temperature is a 3000K warm white, which carries up to 10 metres and wraps the room in an amber glow. With no dimmer, the output stays stable, designed for the end of the day rather than for task lighting.
Installed on either side of a bed, this vertical usefully replaces a bedside lamp and frees up the night table. The deep black answers dark joinery and the graphic textiles of a modern interior. The IP20 rating reserves it for dry rooms, and the 90-260V AC supply suits a standard installation.
